Our journey with Dalmatians began long before Spotted Theory was born. We were fortunate enough to have a Dalmatian in our lives during childhood, and when it came time to choose the breed that would shape our future, it was the only clear choice. Having experienced firsthand how these dogs enrich a family, we knew we wanted to dedicate ourselves to the breed that captured our hearts so early on.

Dalmatians are truly exceptional companions. Beyond their striking appearance, they are gracious, elegant, and possess a unique charm that makes it incredibly easy to fall in love with them. They are essentially odorless, making them wonderful house dogs, yet their versatility is unmatched. Whether you are looking for a partner in the show ring, a high-level competitor in any dog sport or discipline you can imagine, or a devoted family member, the Dalmatian thrives.

We thoroughly health test every dog in our program. Beyond health, we breed for stable, outgoing temperaments, making our dogs perfect for the show ring, performance sports, or life as a family companion. We breed selectively and only plan a litter when we intend to keep a puppy ourselves to advance our program.

The Dalmatian represents the perfect blend of elegance, nobility, and athletic versatility. To truly appreciate the breed, one must understand their unique history. While their exact origins trace back through centuries of European history, they reached their pinnacle in Regency-era England as the premier "coach dog." Bred to run for miles alongside horse-drawn carriages, they cleared paths, protected the horses at rest, and served as elegant symbols of status.

This rich heritage required immense stamina, a natural affinity for other animals, and an alert but balanced protective instinct. They were built to be functional, enduring, and deeply cooperative partners. These traits that remain embedded in their DNA today.

We breed with a deep respect for FCI and AKC standards, focusing heavily on health, stable temperaments, and functional conformation.
